According to the quality inspection results of spiral welded pipe, spiral welded pipe is usually divided into three categories: qualified product, repaired product and scrap product.
1.Qualified products refer to spiral welded pipe whose appearance quality and intrinsic quality meet relevant standards or delivery acceptance technical conditions;
2.Reworked products refer to spiral welded steel pipes whose appearance quality and internal quality do not meet the standards and acceptance conditions, but are allowed to be repaired and can meet the standards and acceptance conditions after repairs.
3.Scrap products refer to spiral welded pipes whose appearance quality and intrinsic quality are unqualified and are not allowed to be repaired or which still fail to meet the standards and acceptance conditions after repairs.
Waste products are divided into two types: internal waste and external waste. Internal waste refers to the waste spiral welded steel pipe found in the foundry or foundry workshop; external waste refers to the waste spiral steel pipe found after delivery, which is usually revealed during machining, heat treatment or use, causing economic losses. Far greater than internal waste.
In order to reduce external waste, batch-produced spiral welded pipe should be sampled for experimental heat treatment and rough processing before leaving the factory. Potential spiral welded pipe defects should be discovered in the spiral steel pipe factory as much as possible so that necessary remedial measures can be taken as early as possible.
