Cement mortar lining technology
After the cement mortar work is completed, there is another important process, which is air drying. It means air drying in a natural state for 2-3 days. The main purpose is to prevent cracks in the cement mortar due to bumps during shipment.
Since the concrete filled in the steel pipe can absorb a large amount of heat energy, the temperature field of the pipe column section is very unevenly distributed when exposed to fire, which increases the fire resistance time of the column and slows down the heating rate of the steel column. Once the steel column yields, the concrete can Bear most of the axial load and prevent structural collapse.
The fire resistance of composite beams also increases because the temperature of the steel beam is reduced by transferring heat from the top flange to the concrete. Experimental statistics show that: compared with steel columns, meeting the 3-hour requirement for first-class fire resistance can save 1/3 to 2/3 or even more fire-retardant coatings. As the diameter of the steel pipe increases, more coatings are saved.
