Many buyers don’t understand why ordinary steel pipes must be made of 3LPE? Doesn’t this undoubtedly increase the cost? The biggest difference between 3LPE anti-corrosion steel pipes and ordinary steel pipes is that the outer wall of the steel pipe is treated with 3LPE coating.
3LPE coating has successfully solved the problem of corrosion resistance and collision resistance of the outer wall of steel pipes. However, liquid epoxy coating is usually used for the lining of steel pipes. This liquid epoxy takes a long time to solidify at room temperature, and the inner wall uses liquid epoxy coating. It can only achieve the ability to reduce drag, but cannot achieve corrosion resistance and erosion resistance.
If used in water pipelines, the inner wall must be in the form of thermally fused epoxy resin powder to better improve the corrosion resistance and friction resistance of the inner wall.
